“Peachy in Perry” served as the theme for this gathering which featured hundreds of educational seminars, interactive displays, a complete three-day RV Basics Bootcamp, and dozens of entertainment acts.
FMCA, an international association for RV owners, announced that Captain “Sully” Sullenberger, renowned captain of the “Miracle on the Hudson,” will be the featured speaker at the organization’s 100th International Convention and RV Expo.
Today’s guest is Dan Ball, the director of membership for FMCA. He provides a bit of history concerning the organization, and outlines the roll FMCA plays in advocacy, education, and bringing RVers together to have fun. He explains how the organization is structured and really delves into the varied training opportunities offered to FMCA members.
Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA), an international organization for RV owners, will be making its 11th visit to the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry March 13 through 16, for what will be the group’s 99th International Convention and RV Expo. The event has been dubbed “Peachy In Perry” in honor of the host city.
“The Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter checks the box on almost all of the items on our needs list when it comes to hosting an RV convention,” said Walker. “And one of the key things that keeps bringing us back is that the facility and the community extend a warm welcome to us each time.”
“I’m not sure why this facility fell off the radar screen of event organizers at FMCA, but we’ve recently made site visits to check out its current status and feel sure it will make a great gathering place for our members,” said Walker.
“Countless FMCA members have shared with us how they have saved significant sums of money when purchasing tires from the current providers, and it’s nice to provide another option,” said Walker.
