WeatherX keeps campers informed in dangerous weather

Listen to this story

DELAWARE VALLEY, N.J. — WeatherX introduces a portable AM/FM/weatherband radio that also includes a powerful LED flashlight as well as a dynamo and crank, solar charging panel, and DC battery power source to ensure campers are ready for any situation.

The flashlight beams steady or flashes for use as an emergency signal. It also has a built-in thermometer and emergency siren.

The solar panel produces 5.5 volts of power, which is enough to keep cell phones and GPS mapping devices charged. The device also operates on three AAA batteries, or can be plugged into an AC/DC source.

Weighing 1.28 pounds, the radio is 8.78 inches long, 2.95 inches wide, and 5.5 inches high and comes in red so it won’t blend into nature.
