Roamwild introduces Airtushi inflatable high chair

Listen to this story

Here’s something that will be of interest to parents and grandparents who enjoy RVing with young children.

Roamwild, a company based out of Columbus, Ohio, introduced the Airtushi, an inflatable high chair with padded seats, a padded side and a front bumper bar that keeps kids upright when sitting. It can be used for children between 6 months and 3 years old and weighing less than 33 pounds, the company noted.

“I was at a friend’s house and went to put my youngest in a portable high chair that attached to a chair,” said James Thorn, head of design at Roamwild.

“Shortly after, my son was moving around, and toppled sideways. Because there was no support, he fell out,” Thor added. “Luckily I caught him, but I wasn’t happy using this product again so I designed Airtushi.”

Features include:

  • Rigid sides
  • Easy to clean and dry
  • Packs down so it can be stored in a handbag or under a stroller
  • Compatible with airline seats, too, but should only be used with the seatbelt sign is off.
  • Also compatible with portable camping chairs
  • Includes a three-point safety harness
