ASA Electronics upgrades wireless observation system

ELKHART – ASA Electronics has added a brand new monitor to their best-selling Voyager wireless observation system. Their WVOS43 now allows drivers to view more with less using its wide angle views in a compact 4.3 inch display that can be stowed easily in the center console or glove compartment when not in use, a release from the company stated.

“Our customers asked for a more compact monitor and more camera versatility. So we delivered with the WVOS43, allowing for a great picture with multiple camera connectivity,” said Pat McCullough, vice president of sales at ASA Electronics said.

As with the previous monitors, the WVOS43 offers WiSight auto-pairing of up to four wireless cameras so the driver can see all the important angles of their vehicle at any time, even while on the road. The included camera features a CMOS lens, built in microphone, and low- light performance. The system also transmits signals through and around objects up to 60 feet away.

This system offers manufacturers the opportunity to provide a truly mobile wireless observation system that is easy to use, handle and store, the release stated.

  • Some guy in back... says:

Just a small correction…the “CMOS lens” is actually the CMOS camera. “CMOS” is the kind of camera sensor the system uses. It’s the same for probably every back-up camera on the market…
