ELKHART — Looking to harness additional market share in the lightweight laminated travel trailer segment, Heartland Recreational Vehicles announced today it has upgraded its North Trail brand with a top-to-bottom interior redesign and all-new exterior graphics.
“We completely revamped the interior with residential, modern amenities that today’s buyers want,” said General Manager Mike Creech, noting that Heartland will be showcasing three new floorplans at the Sept. 17 to 19 Elkhart RV Open House. “The new look adds both style and convenience. Important to our dealer partners, we were able to accomplish the redesign while still maintaining a very sharp price point.”
The North Trail features all-new wood throughout the interior, including slideroom facias and window treatments. Beauflor flooring and solid-surface countertops also enhance the high-end feel, he explained.
“The entire decor is brighter and livelier, and the new wood adds character,” Creech said. “For 2014, Heartland introduced two brand new graphic packages accented with black trimmings that really make the exterior pop.”
Heartland will also be offering a Pearl Exterior Package, featuring distinctive, automotive styling with rich, cream-colored sidewalls, a painted front cap and high-gloss, gel-coat fiberglass, he explained.
“The North Trail offers dealers a distinct edge in one of the industry’s high-volume sectors,” said Coley Brady, vice president of sales for the Thor Industries Inc. subsidiary. “The new design and new floorplans put our dealers in a position to win big and grab more market share in the upcoming year.”
