Podcast 181 features Curt Yoder with Kropf Industries

Today’s guest is Curt Yoder, the co-owner of Kropf Industries, a park model manufacturer based in Goshen, Ind.

Park models have gained a lot of attention in recent years as campgrounds have opted to convert RV spaces into cabins. And many seasonal RVers are opting to trade in their motorhome or towable to buy a park model.

Yoder comes on the show to tell a little about the company, which has been in business since 1946 as well as the destination camping market in general.

He’ll outline the advantages of destination camping and explain how park models are meeting the needs of consumers and campgrounds.

He’ll also talk about why the RV industry is so protective of keeping park models designated as temporary recreation vehicles rather than full-time homes.

Finally, he’s going to explain how RV dealers can tap into this growing market, and what they must be willing to do to successfully sell park models.
