Va. campers raise $3,600 for charities with Poker Run

URBANNA, Va. — Seasonal campers at Bethpage Camp-Resort in Urbanna recently held a Golf Cart Poker Run, and raised $3,600 for Mini’s Mission and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, reports the Urbanna Southside Sentinel.

“The seasonal campers at Bethpage are a community of caring, giving people and this is an opportunity to come together as friends, neighbors and fellow campers to eat, drink, be merry and raise money for charitable organizations—doing good while having fun!” said event spokesperson Christine Martin.
