Texas man loans camper to woman left homeless after crash

AUSTIN, Texas — MyFox Austin reports that a hit-and-run driver crashed into Bertha Haywood’s rental home, making it unlivable and leaving her with nowhere to go. But a MyFox viewer saw Haywood’s story and is offering to loan his camper to her for as long as she needs.

Jason Neeley says it was Haywood’s uplifting spirit and smile that touched him.

Haywood’s landlord won’t allow the camper to be at her home, so she has to find land to put it on. But she says she has faith it will all work out, reports MyFox Austin.
