Shasta camper a big hit at car show

SANDUSKY, Ohio — The 10th annual car show opened the summer season at Lakeside with more than 50 cars displayed on the Hotel lawn, according to The Sandusky Register.

Model T Fords, 1930 Auburns, 1950 Chryslers and late model Mustangs were some of the vehicles displayed. A real eye catcher was a vehicle and camper displayed by Mike Simonski from Pickerington.

He purchased the camper at Terrytown RV in Grand Rapids Michigan as a 2015 re-issue of the 1961 Shasta limited edition. The camper came with all the luxuries of a modern RV (blue tooth radio, heat, air conditioning, hot water tank, etc.)with the looks and feel of the 1960’s, The Sandusky Register reported.
