Search and Rescue retrieves two stranded campers

TERRACE, Canada — Two men, who were in the area camping from Alberta, had their boat motor malfunction on the Gilttoyees River, according to CFTK.

Luckily, the two had a satellite communicator that they were able to use to send an emergency message out, which was received by the RCMP. CFTK reports White River Helicopters took Kiimat Search and Rescue members out to their location, where the two men were rescued — without injuries– around 8PM.
