RV Wheel Life: RVers on the move this Thanksgiving

WASHINGTON — Many RVers will be among the 54.3 million Americans traveling 50 miles or more over the four-day Thanksgiving holiday.

And, this year’s Thanksgiving is projected to be the busiest Turkey Day since 2005. AAA estimates that 2.5 million more folks will be traveling than last year. That’s about a 5 percent increase. AAA has been reporting on holiday travel trends for more than two decades.

Jimmy and I will be among the majority of holiday-goers–we are hitting the road. We are crossing the Oregon Cascades for dinner and football watching with long-time RVers Sharon and Ron Vail near Bend. (Sharon is an amazing cook.)
