Rolling in a RV: Bothe-Napa Valley State Park

Listen to this story

WASHINGTON — The campground was fairly empty when we visited mid week however, since the park is located at the north end of Napa Valley, I suspect that it gets busy in the summer. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, food cupboards, restrooms with flush toilets and showers, and a swimming pool. The campsites are roomy, shady, and fairly private due to lots of vegetation between the sites.

We camped in site 37 which is a designated accessible site. The table top is extended and the ground is hard packed making rolling around very easy. Many of the parking pads for the other sites are very sloped. We did not check out the visitor center, pool, or any of the trails. Park 38.5533, -122.52572
