Roadtreking: How to clean sprinter galley blinds

WASHINGTON — It wasn’t on my list of things to do before we hit the road in the next week or so, but I have always wanted to clean the blind on the windows behind the galley in my CS Adventurous.

Three and a half years of two or three meals a day is a lot of built-up cooking grease and residue, and you have little choice but to look at it with white blinds. I have attempted to wipe the individual blades a few times, but they are easily bent and if they’re in place you really can’t hose them down like you need to to get them really clean.

Top trim, back side. Six screws through three blocks attached to the back of the trim.
