MADISON, Wis. — We were on our trip with our 20-something niece headed for Madison, Wis., and after 325 hard, fast mils we needed a break.
“Hey!” I said, “Here’s a 16-foot high sundial that really tells time.”
Everyone seemed ready for a break and to check it out.
“There’s only one problem,” I said. “It’s at a nudist colony.”
Lake Village, Indiana, right off I-65 (see interactive map below), is the home of not one, but two of these resorts: one for families and one for adults.
Sun Aura Resort has been a nudist colony since the 1930’s and encompasses 300 acres of clothing optional fun with cabins, camping and RV sites. The rates were reasonable, too.
