NV: Officials say RV driver intentionally crashed into train

RENO, Nev. — Emergency crews were on the scene Monday of a train-versus-RV crash west of Reno. There were no fatalities. One person was taken to an area hospital, according to Robert Casos, battalion chief with the Reno Fire Department, the Reno Gazette Journal reported.

“It does appear to be an intentional act,” Casos said, noting the driver was the only person in the RV.

According to Reno Police Officer Travis Warren, the driver went around the crossing guard and was struck by the train, which was traveling east.
