GREENSBORO, N.C. — The North Carolina RV Dealers Association (NCRVDA) is hosting one of the nation’s first RV shows of the year in Greensboro, Jan. 4 to 6, 2019 at the Greensboro Coliseum. The event features nine independent RV dealers from all over the state.
More than 145 different types and brands of 2019 RVs will be on display for consumers, including pop-up trailers, toy haulers, travel trailers, fifth wheels and Class A, B and C motorhomes — all with a variety of floor plans and pricing.
The RV industry has been a traditional bellwether for consumer confidence and spending, said Jeff Haughton, event director at Apple Rock Advertising and Promotions, who noted that 2018 was a record year for RV sales and continued growth is projected for 2019.
The 2019 RVs being presented at the Greensboro NCRVDA Show feature continued innovations and enhancements like touch screen control panels, new LED TVS and surround sound systems, travel trailers with auto leveling features, new hybrid pop-up campers, European-style van conversions and neo-classic Airstream campers; not to mention up to date interior design features like dark cabinets and granite counter tops.
“Having the largest selection under one roof ensures that there will be an RV to fit every budget and camping lifestyle,” said Haughton. “The NCRVDA RV show guarantees fun for the entire family.”
The show also features RV-related products for sale, free campground information, free RV educational seminars and free activities for kids.
NCRVDA will be giving away $100 dollar Sheetz gift cards every hour, and one Yeti Tundra cooler every day throughout the show.
“We are more than excited to start off the 2019 RV show season here in Greensboro, where the show was born, and holding the first show of the year in the country. It truly is the best time to shop for RVs and RV-related products in North Carolina,” said Haughton.
“With hourly giveaways, free seminars, clowns, face painting, shopping and much more, our RV show promises to be entertaining for people of all ages,” he added. “It is a a one-stop shopping destination for RVs and a fun way to plan your next family camping adventure.”
RV Handyman Dave Solberg, who is the managing editor of the RV Repair Club, will be on site all weekend hosting free seminars on many RV related topics, such as traveling with pets, the RV Buyers Guide and RV maintenance.
Show hours are Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults, while kids 12 and under are admitted free. Discounts are available all weekend for senior citizens, military members, law enforcement and firefighters. Family Night adult tickets are only $7 Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
