Love Your RV: How to repair a broken day-night shade

Listen to this story

From the bloggers at Love Your RV:

In this video, I remove a valance and a set of RV day/night shades from one of my slideout rooms windows. Recently the blind stopped functioning correctly after one of the strings broke.

I show you the contents of the United Shade repair kit I bought and how the shades come apart and the restringing process. The video ends with a demo of my repaired shades.

Overall the repair was pretty easy once I got the hang of it. The repair kit was inexpensive and can do up to five window shades.

The video is available at Love Your RV.
