Ill. inventor creates Motorized Tent

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — To make life easier for campers, an inventor from Crete, Ill., has developed the Motorized Tent.

The tent can be set up in less than an hour, which saves time and effort, and eliminates hassles and frustrations, according to InventHelp Inc. It is usable by the military, scouts and campers, and it is producible in various sizes.

The inventor’s personal findings inspired the idea. “While doing a report at college, I discovered that there is a large population of campers,” he said. “It takes three hours or more to pitch a tent. I thought that this is a big waste of time, so I came up with a tent that sets up more quickly.”

The original design was submitted to the Chicago office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
