Girl, 8, hurt in pit bull attack at Arizona RV park

PRESCOTT, Ariz. — An 8-year-old girl remained hospitalized Tuesday after her grandparent’s pitbull bit her in the face while she was playing inside an RV at Orchard Ranch RV Park.

According to the Arizona Republic, the girl was playing in her grandparents’ RV when the dog, named Knuckles, attacked her. Family members were able to get the dog to release his grip, but the girl had already suffered serious facial injuries.

The girl was flown to a Phoenix hospital, and the dog impounded while an investigation continues.
