TUCSON, Ariz. — Members of Escapees Club are headed toward Tucson March 17 to 22 for a week of fun in the desert southwest at the annual Escapade national rally, the group reported today.
“Escapees will gather for five fun-filled days, giving you the opportunity to experience the Escapees motto of ‘caring and sharing’ as you learn everything the Escapees RV Club is all about,” said Cathy Carr, club president emeritus.
“This is your opportunity to connect with other RVers wanting to advance their knowledge and confidence in this great lifestyle,” she added. “You’ll also discover ways you can connect with other ‘SKPs’ throughout the year as you traverse this great land.”
The 59th Escapade promises to be an exciting event, she explained, noting the variety of scheduled educational and lifestyle seminars as well as shopping at the Escapade marketplace, line dancing and Zumba sessions, craft classes, talent show, chili cook-off, and an outdoor fiesta.
“This, along with evening socials, happy hours and fantastic nightly entertainment are sure to keep you busy from morning ‘til night,” said Carr.
Escapees will conduct its second annual photography contest for attendees, with the theme being “Celebrating the Southwest.” This year the club has included a youth division. Photos will be on display throughout the event.
“We can hardly wait to see what amazing photos will be entered by Escapade attendees of all ages,”said Carr.
Registration is still open and overnight camping sites are available. For more information, visit www.escapees.com or call the registration hotline at 888.757.2582.
“Spring will soon be upon us, and there’s still openings for you to join us at Escapade for cool nights, warm days and limitless sunshine that makes March the perfect time of year to visit the Sonoran Desert,” said Carr.
