Deadline approaches for iRV2 rally registration

DALLAS — There are just a few weeks until the 2014 iRV2 National Rally and the registration deadline is this Friday, the group announced today.

The rally takes place Sept. 14 to 20 in Myrtle Beach, S.C. for a week of beachfront fun and a relaxing good time. The rally will be held at the Ocean Lakes Family Campground and the week’s activities will feature great
relaxation, family fun, seminars, vendors, games, Southern themed meals, ice cream, unparalleled entertainment and an optional offsite dinner and show at Medieval Times.

The list of amenities at Ocean Lakes Family Campground is substantial and recreational opportunities abound, the release noted. Ocean Lakes has nearly one mile of fabulous oceanfront and the park offers large, pull-through sites along paved roads. Sites are a stones throw from the waterfront. Every site includes: 20-, 30- or 50-amp electric, water, sewer, complimentary 63-channel cable TV hookup, free WI-FI and a phone jack with free local calls. Large concrete pads are available. The park is ADA accessible and pets are welcome.

Registration for the Rally is a two-part process.  First make a site reservation with the campground directly and then register for the rally and rally events with iRV2.  Book the campsite directly with Ocean
Lakes by calling reservations at 877.510.1413 and asking to be a part of the iRV2 Group. For early arrivals or late departures you may negotiate directly with Ocean Lakes. When registering, give the reservation
clerk the iRV2 screen name as this is what will be seen on the rally ID badge. Be sure to mention the length of the coach in order to make sure that the rig will fit on the site.

Rally fees for the 2014 event are $180 per couple, $90 per extra person, $50 per youngster 7 to 17, and children under 7 are free.  For more information, click here.

The deadline to register is Aug. 15.
