YELLVILLE, Ark. — Marion County Sheriff Roger Vickers said 51-year-old John Prickett of Alexander was still in custody Wednesday facing an attempted murder charge after he and his wife got into an argument over alcohol and he allegedly shot her numerous times, according to Harrison Daily.
Vickers said Prickett and his wife, 61-year-old Tommie Prickett, had been camping at Buffalo Point since Sept. 5. John had to go to the store for groceries, but he also bought and consumed some alcohol although he’d been sober for a few months, Harrison Daily explained.
