MIDDLEBURY, Ind. — Today Jayco announced Ken Walters, formerly the vice president of sales and product development of Jayco’s Motorhome Group, will assume additional responsibilities for Jayco’s towable divisions including Jayco, Starcraft and Highland Ridge.

Walters replaces Marc Hauser, who resigned from Jayco to relocate to the northwest to be closer to family.

“Ken has been in the RV industry for over 13 years, with a number of those years on the retail side of the business,” said Derald Bontrager, president and CEO of Jayco. “The experience Ken has, coupled with now having responsibility for all of Jayco’s towable and motorized divisions will provide greater consistency across all.

“I would like to thank Marc for his leadership the past few years and wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” Bontrager added.

Walters will continue to report to Matt Thompson, Jayco chief operating officer, and will assume his new Jayco towable responsibilities, in addition to his overseeing of the Jayco Motorhome Group, starting Feb. 4.

“I wish Marc the best as he moves back to the Northwest to be closer to his family,” said Thompson. “I’m also excited to elevate Ken’s role in the company as he has proven himself to be a great leader with an excellent knowledge of our industry.”
