Ultrafabrics offers training on the power of color

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. — Ultrafabrics today announced the company’s latest education installment.

“With ‘The Power of Color: Using Color to Evoke Feelings and Create Moods,’ Ultrafabrics has designed a continuing education course to not only train the creative community on the multiple uses of applications of Ultrafabrics portfolio of materials, but how color is truly a crucial design tool, and how it can affect emotions and elicit physical response,” said trainer Michelle Stangarone.

The course has been designed to impress the audience with insight and knowledge on how color can communicate a specific mood or feeling, she added.

Topics that will be covered include color psychology, symbolism, meaning and color association. At the end of the training, participants will understand how to use color in designing five key moods.

Stangarone is the newly appointed dedicated in-house education coordinator at Ultrafabrics. She is based at out of the Ultrafabrics New York headquarters.

The training opportunities are 60 minutes in length and are accredited by the Interior Design and Continuing Education Council as well as the American Institute of Architecture.
