Trial delayed again in RV dealer embezzlement case

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A trial date has been postponed for the third time in the case against the former owner and manager of R.V. Peddler accused of stealing millions from customers, KGET-TV reported.

Investigators say the former general manager of R.V. Peddler, Ken Searcy and owner Faye Moreno took trailers on consignment, sold them, and never gave the original owner the money or the new owner the title to the RV.

In all, the pair is accused of embezzling $2.8 million.
