LAS VEGAS — Torklift International is hosting a training seminar at the Arrow Distributing show in Las Vegas Jan. 15 at 10 a.m., the company announced today.
“We are unveiling several new products at the seminar in additional to going over advancements on existing lines,” said National Sales Manager Kyle Bonita.
“We are also going to offer training to dealers on how to use Google My Business for their brick and mortar locations as well as talk about best practices for service writers that are universal for any product line,” Bonita explained.
The new and updated products being unveiled in the seminar are related to towing, steps and suspension. This is the first distribution seminar where these products are unveiled in 2019. Prizes will also be awarded during the seminar.
In addition to new product developments, Torklift will share sales and marketing information that would benefit any dealer who wants to learn how to have a quick and complete online presence that can be easily found through Google, said Bonita.
“Google My Business is a tool for brick and mortar dealers that shows retail customers where to find their business and other basic information and allows businesses to be associated with key words that their customers are searching right now in order to be linked up with a business that would help them,” he explained. “It’s simple and easy to use and takes little time to support.”
Torklift began as a brick and mortar dealer and has more than 40 years of experience training service writers how to sell various brands, he added.
“We want to share some valuable things that have helped our dealer base grow over many decades, along with pitfalls that are easy to avoid when it comes to training service writers to sell any brand,” Bonita said. “By selling more than 100 brands, we hope to share techniques that have expanded businesses for more than 40 years.”
The training will be located in the Bronze Room at Bally’s Hotel and Casino starting at 10 a.m. Jan. 15.
