Thousands of people enjoy VW show Dubs at the park

READING, England — Car lovers from around the country flocked to VW show Dubs at the grounds of Easthampstead Park Conference Centre to enjoy sunshine and climb through classic and modern Volkswagen camper vans, Get Reading reported.

Thousands of VW owners exhibited their vehicles with any model, age or condition standing a chance of winning a prize as winners were voted for by visitors, according to Get Reading.

David Higgs, chairman of London and Thames Valley VW Club which organizes the event, said to Get Reading, “the show is absolutely fantastic I have never seen so many people. We had everything from the earliest VWs up to the most modern, so from air cooled to water cooled. It is a non-profit making show and we will donate all the excess money to charities Bowel Cancer UK  and Windsor Horse Rangers. It is all done by volunteers and without them we couldn’t run the show.”
