Thor Motor Coach displays Mercedes-Benz concept at RVX

SALT LAKE CITY — Thor Motor Coach is displaying a European-inspired Mercedes-Benz Sprinter concept at RVX in in Booth 2700K, the company reported today.

The diesel-powered RV is just under 25 feet and includes the new Mercedes-Benz chassis with a new cockpit design and a safety package, the company noted in a press release.

Standard safety features include active brake assist, blind spot assist mirror, attention assist, active distance assist distronic, traffic sign assist, emergency call, wet wiper system and active lane-keeping assist.

The conceptual Mercedes RV includes solid surface countertops, modern cabinetry, and the Winegard ConnecT 2.0 4G LTE router and Wi-Fi extender. All new cabinetry comes from the Italian company TecnoForm S.p.A., whose designs are displayed in  European campervans and yachts.

A moonroof over the cab-over bunk integrates with a new front cap.

      I didn’t get a chance to see that unit up close, but I doubt it is the same unit. Thor has been marketing their own Class B units for quite some time.
