Sobel shares tips for hiring and training millennials

TACOMA, Wash. — International Sales and Management Trainer, Jered Sobel, will discuss How to Hire and Train Millennials at the upcoming RV Dealers Convention/Expo on November 8.

Millennials value personal development in a new career, sometimes more than money. In this session, Jered Sobel will teach you how to throw away conventional tools that do not work with today’s workforce.

Attendees will be able to take home key tactics to hire and train millennials with techniques for execution.

During this workshop, attendees will learn:

  • How to help a new salesperson get off to the right start
  • Accountability for new salesperson for learning products and sales techniques in the right order
  • How to make new employees accountable with focused learning on what they need to sell RVs to today’s educated consumers
  • How to help each salesperson make $100,000 in their first full year in RV sales

Jered Sobel is vice president of Sobel University an RV exclusive sales and management training company. At the last RVIA meeting, he received the 40 under 40 award for achievement in the RV industry. In just under five years, Jered has built a following of over 500 viewers consisting of RV dealers and employees on his RV Monthly Training Webinar. Monthly, Jered holds five-day courses speaking to groups of 40 to 120 RV sales department top producers. Jered also works one on one with RV Dealership personnel as well as with sales teams. Jered is known for designing the industry standard onboarding sales training manual. Jered identifies with the millennials as well as the most experienced RV professionals. Jered is published in RV trade publications regularly and is most appreciated for his insightful view of today’s consumer.
