Today’s guest is Sean Raynor, the general manager of Integrated Dealer Systems (IDS).
IDS will be hosting a special summit for RV dealers at the upcoming RVX industry meeting in Salt Lake City. The summit takes place March 11, before the show opens.
Raynor describes the type of training that will take place at the summit. The agenda is developed specifically for RV dealer principles and their general managers.
He offers a glimpse into the type of knowledge participants will gain, especially into understanding the dealership’s key performance indicators.
This summit is a fabulous idea and every owner and general manager at RV dealerships that utilize the IDS-Astra software system should try to attend that meeting.
Why is it important? Because data is king. Dealers and key managers need to understand what the data is, how to find it, how to interpret it and then to apply that data when making decisions on the future of the dealership.
Dealers also need to know how to dig around in the data in order to hold their staff accountable.
Dealers need to be able to utilize the software to make sure all departments are functioning as they should be, and that nothing is falling through the cracks.
This summit will allow dealers and general managers to network with each other to take full advantage of the data they are already collecting.
