BOSTON — Most of the country was severely impacted by the recent polar vortex and freezing weather that set record low temperatures in many states and disrupted traffic, air travel, work, schools and just about every aspect of their lives, RVing in New England noted today.
“RVs were exposed to conditions never dreamed of, both outside in the elements or inside building without proper heating systems, or no heat at all,” said host Bob Zagami.
“We wanted to bring in one of our industry experts to discuss the impact that this weather may have had on these RVs, both for our dealers nationwide, manufacturers in the Midwest with yards full of new RVs waiting to be delivered, and the millions of consumers with RVs in campgrounds, storage facilities or their own driveway,” said Zagami.
Mark Polk, an industry trainer and co-owner of RV Education 101 with his wife, Dawn, will join RVing in New England tonight for a discussion on issues the brutal weather may have had on those RVs.
“Find out what you have to check on your RV as you get ready for the upcoming camping season, whether you are in New England or out their in this vast wonderland of our country,” said co-host John DiPietro.
The interview takes place at 7 p.m. Eastern and can be viewed at www.facebook.com/rvinginnewengland.
