RVDA webinar zeros in on dealership fire safety

FAIRFAX, Va. — More than 75 percent of businesses that suffer a severe fire go under within three years of reopening, and 25 percent never reopen at all, the RV Dealers Association reported today.

Fires are one of the most destructive forces known to business, so dealers are advised to make sure their businesses are safe by participating in next week’s free webinar on facility fire safety, sponsored by RVDA.

A risk-management expert from RVDA’s strategic partner KPA will review the top causes of shop fires and how to avoid them.

During the webinar, dealers will find out more about:

  • Detecting and correcting electrical issues
  • Storing combustible material
  • Managing containers
  • Adding fire protection to your facility

This free event takes place Jan. 28 at noon Eastern. To register, click here.
