RVDA webinar offers tips on preventing heat illness

FAIRFAX, Va. — The Mike Molino RV Learning Center and strategic partner KPA will host a free webinar May 21 at 2 p.m. Eastern time entitled “Heat Illness Prevention Inside & Out.”

Attendees will learn about managing outdoor work environments, get reminders about pending legislation regarding indoor heat illness considerations, and learn top strategies for preventing heat exhaustion and other medical crises.

The webinar will be presented by Danny Warrell, a KPA risk management consultant, helping employers reduce their risks and advising them on how to keep employees safe.

He has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Jacksonville State University along with five 5 years of experience in environmental remediation.

Prior to joining KPA, he served as a site safety officer in the petrochemical industry. He is also an authorized Occupational Safety and Health Administration outreach trainer.
