LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Employees of RV Dealers Association (RVDA) member dealerships are just beginning to take advantage of RVDA’s new free reward program, AchieveLinks. Introduced during RVDA’s annual convention and launched a week and a half ago, Natasha Etienne, a representative for AchieveLinks, said so far 17 members have activated their free reward accounts.
Those who activate their membership can get rewards and discounts on online purchases from more than 1,000 retailers and earn points or ‘links,’ Etienne said. Retailers include the Marriott, Home Depot, Office Depot, Best Buy, Apple Store, Grainger, Sears and more. Once points/links are accumulated, a member can redeem them for products such as digital cameras, sunglasses, vacuums, gift cards, global travel and association rewards such as RVDA membership fees and dues.
To incentivize activation, AchieveLink is offering RVDA members 500 points upon activation and another 500 when they make their first purchase. Etienne said each member is automatically enrolled, but members must activate their accounts in order to shop online and earn points. To activate memberships, dealers simply click on the link located on the Endorsed Products and Services page of RVDA’s website and set up their account. Once an account is activated, members can begin earning reward points that can be redeemed for select merchandise from the Mike Molino RV Learning Center and other online retailers.
“It’s a free program for the Association to offer,” said Etienne. “Members are able to earn points for purchases they would make anyways, including paying for memberships or conferences. Members can deactivate their accounts at any time.”
To earn points, members must visit the RVDA website and select the Shop and Earn Center link at www.RVDA.AchieveLinks.com. Members can also download the LinksReminder toolbar for their web browser and it will notify them when they are on a merchant partner website and can earn Links without visiting the Shop and Earn Center.
Points expire within five years of being earned, or forty days after a member deactivates their account. Etienne said AchieveLinks currently works with about 180 associations and has been doing so for four years.
