RESTON, Va. — From March 12 to 14, the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace in Salt Lake City will play host to RVX: The RV Experience. Over the course of three days, RVX will showcase the newest and most innovative products from the entire industry, the RV Industry Association reported.
RVX is a promotional platform that will feature never-before-exhibited RV products unveiled to help dealers more effectively reach a new generation of consumers, from outdoor adventurers to family living, the release explained.
“This is a showcase of what the industry is destined to become, and the industry’s leaders have some new and exciting ways to display their latest products,” said Liz Crawford, senior vice president of meetings and shows. “We recently spoke with a few industry leaders to find out what they’ve got in store for their dealer partners.”
Here’s what they had to say:
Nick Recchio, president of Coachmen, said, “I’m most looking forward to the new energy sources and Class Bs at RVX.”
Coachmen will be displaying the 24A in its booth which features a new floorplan with a fixed bed and large storage beneath a fixed bed. For outdoor enthusiasts, this floorplan is equipped with a Class B, Polar Package Plus waterline and tank heating system.
Coachmen will also be introducing its new “phase change” upgraded insulation package. This unit is also an option with its Li3-600AMP hour Lithium battery and under-hood generator that will run Coachmen’s Class B 12-volt, 20,000-Btu air conditioner for approximately 10 hours.
“We are excited to see what the next generation of our industry has to offer at RVX,” said Mike A. Terlep, manager of Cardinal Limited and Cardinal Luxury for Forest River.
Terlep’s team will be bringing their brand-new line up of the Cardinal Limited and luxury fifth-wheel lines. New features include power chord reels, interior/built-in vacuum systems and hidden TV storage.
These easy to clean features are extremely friendly to the needs of consumers. Representatives will be on site and ready to greet dealers; show them all the bells and whistles and address any questions they may have, the release explained.
Lance Camper will be bringing two new concept units, including an ultra-travel trailer prototype concept unit in the 20-foot range, as well as a truck camper special-build concept dubbed “Rule Maker,” based on the Lance 8555 Ultra-Light truck camper.
The Lance display will feature an all-new layout designed around a new 20-inch LED lifestyle display wall, as well as an all-new “mini-studio” showing Lance podcast episodes and social media live events.
“We are looking forward to experiencing the overall feel and flow of the new event,” said John Sammut, vice president of sales at Newmar.
The company will be introducing a new feature at RVX as well as a new finished product debuting at the event. Only four vehicles will be on display at their booth, one brand new product and three 2019 model year products. The units will be shown in a newly-designed exhibit.
“We are looking forward to the opportunity to showcase two new units as well as see how the show is received by both manufacturers and dealers alike,” Chris Mandell, general manager of Divisions 120/121 for Forest River.
Forest River will be showing two new units at RVX. One is small and compact, as well as light enough to be towed by any vehicle with a 1,500-pound tow rating.
They’ll also be showing new models in the camping and travel trailer segments. Forest River’s booth will also feature new updates as they concentrate on signage and point of purchase material to exhibit their product.
Registration is still open at www.rvx.org.
