NAPERVILLE, Ill. — RVIS, an RV inspection services company, recently introduced its customer walk-through program for individual buyers and RV dealers.
Buyers, whether private or through a dealer, will be given a complete and thorough review of all of the features, systems, and functions of their RV. By using RVIS, dealers can keep using their technicians and salespeople in their primary roles, said owner Win Semmler.
This new service complements other services already provided by RVIS, he explained.
The primary service provided are three different and comprehensive RV inspections for the buyers of used or new RVs. These include an essential, or basic level inspection which is a general overview of the RV being considered for purchase.
For a more in-depth review of the RV, including a fluid analysis for a motorized unit or tow vehicle, an essential plus inspection is offered. Finally, there is a premier level inspection which provides the greatest amount of information, as well as an analysis of two engine fluids.
In addition to fluid analysis options provided through either an essential plus or premier inspection, RVIS will perform fluid analyses as separate activities for generator, tow vehicle, or towed vehicle.
Fluid samples are drawn from the engine, sent to an independent partner laboratory for analysis, and results are returned to the buyer within a few days. People will know with certainty if the engine fluids are good or if there are signs of wear or fatigue or possibly shavings in the fluid, said Semmler.
Semmler has been certified as a Level II inspector by the National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA) and has business affiliations with RV Inspection Connection, JG Lubricant Services, TechnoRV, and Wholesale Warranties.
