BOTHELL, Wash. — RV Comfort Systems announced today that it has added a new factory-trained regional service center, this one in Gallup, N.M. The Gallup location also offers mobile RV service.

Other regional service centers staffed with factory-trained technicians located in Everett, Wash.; Chetopa, Kan.; Grand Island, Neb.; La Grande, Ind.; Knoxville, Tenn.; Elk City, Okla., and Oklahoma City.

A total of 336 RV dealers now carry RV Comfort Systems’ CheapHeat product, said owner Larry McGaugh.

“The CheapHeat hybrid system allows RVers to simply flip a switch to change back and forth between propane and electricity to heat the interior of their coach,” he explained.

This system employs a UL-certified and RV Industry Association-compliant heating coil powered by 120-volt or 240-volt AC to provide the heat.

It can be configured into three different wattage ratings — 1,800, 3,750 and 5,000 watts — depending on the shore power limitations.

With the optional two-stage kit, it can be setup to automatically shift back and forth between wattage outputs based on shore power inputs.
