Arizona-based RV sales trainer Chuck Morgan appears on podcast episode 90 to talk about the RV StatTracker software he developed that analyzes data about a particular salesperson in order to identify strengths and weaknesses. Then, it allows sales managers to develop a training plan and action plan to improve effectiveness.
The RV StatTracker system requires a manager to enter one-minute’s worth of data per day, per salesperson. Then, it analyzes the data over time to see where improvements could be made.
Perhaps the salesperson greets a lot of people, but makes few presentations. So, his presentation skills need to be tweaked. Perhaps he makes a lot of presentations, but has a poor closing record. That would indicate the salesperson may need help with his closing skills.
Morgan explains the program in greater detail and describes how it can help an RV dealership make the most of every sales opportunity. After all, he said, improving sales effectiveness gives the salesperson and dealership a raise without increased marketing or working more hours.
