Podcast 232 explores Jellystone Park franchise opportunity

Camping has really taken the center stage in recent years as more and more people embrace the RV lifestyle.

Demand for quality campgrounds has surged and a number of reports indicate that interest in campground ownership is growing, too.

Today’s guest is is Jim Westover, the vice president of product development and sales for Jellystone Parks.

Jellystone is hosting a one-day seminar in Phoenix April 27 for prospective campground owners.

Jim explains the purpose of the meeting and what types of topics will be discussed, and describes some of the networking opportunities that will be offered for people to connect with company officials and Jellystone Park owners.

He also describes the advantages of joining the Jellystone Park system and some the requirements for potential franchise owners.

He explores whether people should convert an existing campground to a Jellystone Park, or build a new campground from scratch, or buy an existing franchise.

He also talks about the awards Jellystone has received in recent years regarding the value and return on investment for its franchises.

Owning a campground is very hard work. It would be significantly harder without the backing of a franchise. The name recognition is helpful, the tools offered for reservations and business management are essential, and just having a known, working system in place would help ensure success.

Jellystone is a solid franchise with a 50-year history of creating well-run and profitable campgrounds.

Anyone who has ever wondered what it would be like to own a campground or current campground owners who think their business could benefit through partnership with a well-respected franchise, are encouraged attend the April 27 meeting in Phoenix.

Participants can talk with the Jellystone staff and with current campground owners. They can meet with people who can help with financing the transaction.

They can get all the facts, figures and numbers you need to make an informed decision as to whether owning a Jellystone Park is a good business decision.
