This week’s guest is Liz Crawford, the vice president of meetings and shows for the RV Industry Association.
She’s charged with overseeing the California RV Show that is directed at consumers, and the National RV Trade Show which is directed at professionals working in the RV industry.
Crawford is relatively new to the position. This is the second year she has been planning the shows and she explains what happened in California this year and what she expects will happen in Louisville, Ky., in less than three weeks.
She describes the major events that will take place this year in Louisville, including the first-ever tech competition as well as a special event honoring the Top 40 people under 40 years of age. The city of Louisville is also helping to sponsor a celebration in the downtown area after the second full day of the show.
Crawford also talks about what people can expect at this year’s Outlook breakfast, an annual event that kicks off the National RV Trade Show at 7 a.m. Nov. 28.
