Podcast 146 features RVDR Editor Ronnie Garrett

Listen to this story

Episode 146 begins with a brief monologue about how today’s announcement of Camping World’s acquisition of TheHouse.com could really put the company in a wonderful position to adopt an Amazon-like approach to delivering outdoor products to consumers around the country.

This week’s guest is Ronnie Garrett, the new editor of RV Daily Report who took over the publication July 1.

She describes a little about herself and her background not only in journalism, but in RVing as well. She’s an avid tent and cabin camper and her folks took her RVing as a child.

Garrett outlines her vision for RV Daily Report and describes areas she thinks can be improved, such as adding more videos and publishing more unique stories.

She has an ambitious agenda that also includes production of several “special edition” magazine-like publications that will be delivered online.

Best of all, she’s looking for ways to differentiate RV Daily Report from competitors by embracing more consumer-oriented content as well as expanding industry coverage in key areas.
