CAMBRIDGE, Ontario — Bankrupt RV manufacturer Erwin Hymer Group North America could have a new owner as early as next month, the Record reported.

Receiver Alvarez and Marsal says bids — in the form of binding letters of intent — must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. April 3, and those bids will be evaluated by 5 p.m. April 8, after which one or more may be accepted.

A list of 60 parties that may be interested in acquiring some or all of the company’s assets were contacted as part of the receivership process, “with a view to restarting some or all of the company’s former operations,” the Record indicated.

As of March 15, a total of 18 parties had entered confidentiality agreements with the receiver to help prepare a possible bid.

RV Daily Report has received a copy of the receiver’s report late this afternoon and will have an updated story in Tuesday’s newsletter.
