ANDERSON, Calif. — Organizers of the 26th edition of the Nor-Cal Boat, Sport & RV Show in Anderson sense the economy is turning, and are optimistic as they prepare for this year’s event, reports the Record-Searchlight.
“I think things are getting better. We will have to wait and see, but the vendors who have been to other shows, they are saying things are looking better. … We certainly can use some positive thoughts,” Lynn Gilliss, who runs the show with husband Ron, told the Record-Searchlight.
The show kicks off at noon today at the Shasta District Fairgrounds and runs through Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children seven to 15, and free for kids six and under. Today, those 55 and older can get in for just $4.
