FMCA announces partnership with Briter Products

FMCA has announced a new partnership with Briter Products, creator and contract manufacturer of Ion-Ready lithium-iron-phosphate batteries designed specifically for RV use.

Lithium-iron-phosphate batteries can deliver twice the power and are about half the weight of lead-acid batteries, the release explained, adding they have a longer life expectancy, are fast charging, and can be mounted internally or externally in various positions, among other benefits.

Spartan to unveil new technology at Entegra Homecoming

Spartan Specialty Vehicles and Chassis will exhibit at the 2019 Entegra Coach Homecoming event May 14 to17 at Elkhart County Fairgrounds in Goshen, Ind.

At the event, Spartan will unveil its E-Z Steer technology, which offers on-the-go adjustable steering wheel tension and positioning designed to reduce driver fatigue on long trips, improve the coach’s ability to maneuver at slow speeds, and park with ease.

Spartan will exhibit its signature flag-wrapped K3 605 chassis, riding under the Entegra Cornerstone, onsite for training seminars.

The K3 605 chassis will display features such as a Cummins X15 605 horsepower diesel engine, an Allison Transmission 4000 MH six-speed electronic transmission, 20,000-pound independent front suspension and 20,000-pound towing capacity.

Derema Group to represent RV Designer

Derema Group announced that RV Designer has appointed Derema as its national sales representatives in the United States RV aftermarket.

RV Designer is a supplier of replacement hardware and relevant categories to the RV aftermarket.

Krzyzanowski becomes sales rep for Travel Lite RV

Travel Lite RV announced Donnie Krzyzanowski has been hired as a regional salesperson serving the southeast region.

A Marine veteran, he has worked as a salesperson for Lazydays RV and as a general sales manager for Camping World.

He also invested six years working as a sales rep for an unidentified RV manufacturer.

Lazydays Employee Foundation raises $130,000 to help youth

The Lazydays Employee Foundation announced that its 9th Annual Golf Tournament raised more than $130,000 to support at-risk youth in the Tampa Bay area.

The proceeds will fund a variety of programs designed to empower local children with educational and life-changing opportunities, the release explained.

Similar to previous years, all 36 team slots sold out for the 2019 Lazydays Employee Foundation Golf Tournament, which took place May 10 at the River Hills Country Club in Valrico, Fla.
