RESTON, Va. — When trade show seminars help attendees to work smarter on their return home, they are usually a big hit, the RV Industry Association noted today, noting that has been the goal of seminars scheduled for the National RV Trade Show.
This year’s show offers two special sessions. The first session is about taking a smarter approach to RV sales. The second will make attendees smarter about communicating with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The seminars are included with the show registration and incur no additional cost. Attendees will need to sign up when they register for the show, or if already registered, to sign up for the shows in advance by calling 703.620.6003, Ext. 367.
Marketing the Process of Sales Achievement takes place Dec. 2 from 8 to 9 a.m. with continental breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m. It is presented by Bodine Balasco, a professional sales trainer who was named one of the Top 21 speakers for the 21st century by Successful Meetings magazine.
In this interactive workshop, participants will learn modern strategies for boosting sales success by working smarter, not harder. The methods learned will help participants achieve substantially better results from the same amount of time and effort they are already investing, the release noted.
The NHTSA seminar explores the best practices in compliance and reporting. A panel representing all points of view will discuss manufacturers and suppliers responsibilities in communicating with NHTSA and best practices for doing so. Panel members will also give advice regarding compliance process control and component traceability.
Panel members include:
- Bruce York, with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
- Wes Chestnut, from Spartan Motors
- Leo Atkins, with Forest River
- Von Lindsey, from Lindsey Research
- Bruce Hopkins, with the RV Industry Association
