Motorhome owners warn on financial effect of ban

ABERYSTWYTH, Wales — The decision to ban motorhomes and campervans from Aberystwyth’s south promenade was greeted with dismay by their owners, according to Cambrian News.

Percy Broome and Mary Shepherd from Crewe told Cambrian News this move could affect their decision on whether or not to return to the area. “If we come again, obviously we will have to find somewhere else to park, but it may be that we don’t come again because of this,” said Percy.

“Motorhome users spend a lot of money at shops and restaurants on the seafront, so I think if overnight parking is banned a lot of these businesses will suffer.”
