MI: RV dealer’s trade-in event helps local boy scouts

WAYLAND, Mich. —  General RV has partnered with Boy Scouts of America to donate hundreds of tents to local youth.

In its second year, the Trade Your Tent event hopes to help the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts get excited about camping.

General RV sales manager Mike Sweeney says the partnership came naturally.

“Just like them, we love to have fun and we love to go camping,” Sweeney said. “That’s really what it all comes down to, spending time with your friends and family.”
