MBA RV Rental School sells out

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — For the first time, the RV Rental School produced by MBA Insurance has completely sold out, RV Daily Report has learned.

Josephine Johnson, vice president of MBA Insurance, said 75 students had registered for the intensive three-day training session, which takes place Feb. 25 to 27 at the Tuscany Suites and Casino in Las Vegas.

“This is the first time we have ever had to place a limit on the class,” she added.

In the past, MBA would just keep adding students, and work to accommodate everyone. But, when the class size exploded past 60 this year, the company had to look at establishing a maximum simply to maintain a quality balance of networking and instruction, she explained, noting the intimate interaction available at prior classes is what made them so successful.

“We have people coming from all over this year — from Alaska to Florida, and throughout much of Canada,” she added. “I think the economy is doing well and the industry has sprung back from the downturn. Dealers are looking for ways to augment their income and reach more potential customers.”

The dates for the 2015 class have not yet been announced, but will be set before the RV Dealers Association expo later this year.
