FAIRFAX, Va. — Jayco advanced its giving to the Mike Molino RV Learning Center this month, adding $5,000 to its lifetime giving, for a total of $23,500.
Derald Bontrager, president and CEO of Jayco said, “for the RV Industry to continue to grow and prosper, education and training in all segments and all levels is necessary. The Mike Molino RV Learning Center provides dealers that opportunity.”
This gift puts Jayco in the top position for the Champion level of donor, which is the second highest category for gifts.
The RV Learning Center kicked off its FY15 fundraising drive at the recent RV Dealers International Convention/Expo.
Donations fund the Learning Center’s many educational programs including the launch of the Society of Certified RV Professionals during the convention/expo. The mission of the society is to promote the value of education and certification for the industry and reward certified professionals and industry supporters.
“I am proud to be in an industry where dealers and manufacturers recognize that we’re all on the same team when it comes to supporting and nurturing education,” said RV Learning Center Chairman of the Board Jeff Pastore of Hartville RV Center. “Jayco’s recent gift and continued giving are a great testament to Jayco’s corporate values.”
Jayco is the nation’s largest family-owned and operated RV manufacturer, developing a full lineup of recreation vehicles at their company headquarters in rural Middlebury, Ind.
The RV Learning Center offers an array of education resources including publications, distance learning, live workshops, online products, training, and certification programs for RV dealership personnel.
