IN: First stages of annexation plan move forward

GOSHEN, Ind. — The Goshen City Council is teed up to kick off 2018 with talks over a plan for a small annexation that could have a big impact on the area.

The council voted almost unanimously Tuesday night to pass the first reading of an ordinance to annex a strip of about 330 acres of land along a private road at 16629 C.R. 36, southeast of the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds.
